Nats take 3 of 4 from Bombers in Bronx

Game 1:  Early Wynn pitches and hits his way to a come-from-behind win.  He has 2 hits including a HR in a 6-4 win.

Game 2:  Milo Candini handcuffs the Yanks and tosses a 2-0 shutout.

Game 3:  Yanks defense falls apart committing 4 errors and 3 unearned runs in a 8-5 loss.

Game 4:  Washington's defense betters Yanks by 1 with 5 errors as the Yanks avoid the sweep with a 6-5 win.

Notes:  Series played at Yankee Stadium
Washington turned 10 DPs in the series, including 4 in the shutout.
Yanks slug 5 HRs but 4 were solo shots.
